Big fish games mystery case files 2012
The graphics and artwork in this game range from clear to dark and grainy. However, once you visit a particular area a few times you get the hang of even the least clear ones. You are given 5 hints per chapter but can use the map to visit other areas if you get stuck in one. If, once visitng all the available areas, you are not able to clear enough items you can use a hint or two.
I had no problem with this fixed number of hints, never using more than a couple per chapter. It is fun to see how some of the characters in this game were tweaked a bit to become some of the carnie workers in Madame Fate.
This is a fun little game for HOG lovers. I love this game. I, personally can't fault any aspect of this game. I love the graphics, the storyline is good and fun. The Big Fish Guarantee: Quality tested and virus free. No ads, no adware, no spyware. Get the latest games, special offers, and more!

Dire Grove, Sacred Grove Dire Grove has been plunged into a record-defying cold, and wild animals threaten at every turn! Fates Carnival Madame Fate returns… from the dead! Escape from Ravenhearst You survived one side of the story—now live through his! One pet peeve I have is I wish all the devs would program the game so that when a person or animal is injured that we would be able to tend to them right away instead of obtaining all the healthcare needs three or four scenes later.
Yeah, I know it's only a game, but it's the principle of the thing! And some of the items we have to retrieve are ridiculous to say the least. But that seems to be with most games anyway. Cookie cutter games--all alike! I'd like to see something different down the road--we are after all in the 21st century!
I had to chuckle at a particular scene when one of the characters is dying in another character's arms. In the meantime, I obtained the items that were needed but he kicks the bucket. But before he dies, he says, "It's too late for me, but thanks for everything! These devs do have a good sense of humor! I would recommend this game. That game series is no longer meaningful. It's been lost. This game was average. The name Mystery Case Files was only added to the game to sell it. Pitiful on Big Fish's part.
Losing respect They seem to have just drawn on all the old cases and put them in a mixer. No purpose to the story and a relatively innocuous ending. Rated 3 out of 5 by debwolf from Brings back the old MCF feel, but very short. This was fun, but not particularly challenging.
The worst was not being able to manipulate the mini games and having to resort to skipping. Overall, I don't regret purchasing this game. It was fun. Short, at times annoying, but fun for the most part. Rated 2 out of 5 by roaming from Impossible Concentric Ring Puzzle I was having a pretty good time following the story, playing hidden object scenes, and skipping puzzles, because I always skip the puzzles in these games.
I don't like puzzles, I'm not good at them, and so I just skip them and go on my merry way. But in this game, there is a concentric ring puzzle where you turn the rings to find animal shapes emerging from the lines and squiggles. You can not skip this puzzle!! I did find three of them, but I could not figure out the remaining three. I worked on it for probably 30 minutes or longer, turning the rings around to no avail, so I gave up.
Had I been able to solve it and finish the game, I would probably have given it four stars, but this will forever be the game I couldn't finish and wasted a credit on. Rated 1 out of 5 by mlsess from Horrible! I hated it! First my overall opinion is this has the feel of the cheap hidden object games that none of us want to play in favor of the more carefully crafted MCF games. The graphics were cheap looking and I can't stress this point enough.
But Winston Malgrave, the mysterious curator, has requested your help collecting its trademark cure — all dust — the key to the survival of his beloved Sara, who is gravely ill.
