Hi, FlailoftheLord, Method 1. Using the above mentioned commands, you have taken ownership of the folder and then assigned the Administrators group Full Control Permissions for the folder. Method 2. By default, the owner of this kind of folders is TrustedInstaller rather than Administrator. Administrators has a special set of permissions for the folders which does not include the Take Ownership or Change Permissions permission.
