Vista delhi mehrauli

The services and management are really great and they arranged everything as promised and their services were really quick. Loved it. Highly recommended.

Booked it for my Haldi function. Food was just okay. Since it was a small function so limited menue was there. Service was fine. We had booked Vista for our wedding.

The staff was very hospitable and the arrangements were done very well. The food particularly was very good. Overall, a very good experience! Please do not book this venue. We had booked this venue for my pre wedding function sagan.

The hotel had even taken the advance from us. One month later, we got a call from the hotel that your booking has been cancelled as we have another booking for the same day! My mom loves nature.

She loves greenery and the environment. So when we finalised on the location, we knew that we wanted to use it for its natural setting as much as possible. So we developed and conceptualised a theme of a green and white enchanted forest. We attended two weddings at the Vista Hotel and the venue looked so different both the times. Its a great canvas for decor and could be done up as luxe or as minimal as you want. The food is nice, however the chaat and live stations were slightly soggy so left a bit to be desired.

My parents booked the place and had an easy time with their booking team. It took only 3 meetings to see the venue, pay advance and close the menu - superb. The Vista-New Delhi. Write a Review. Anonymous Event Date: 24 Nov Zafar Mahal, a palace built by the last Mughals is in shambles.

Hathi gate through which you enter the palace looks healthy but once you go inside — be very careful. You would notice a Moti Masjid here similar to the one you see in Red Fort. This is where Bahadur Shah Zafar wanted to be buried, but fate had Rangoon marked for him. Start walking on the main road southwards and you will see Jahaz Mahal standing at the edge of a large tank called Shamsi Talab or pond.

The pond is attributed to the 13th CE slave dynasty king Iltutmish. The tank is now a fraction of its original size though it still looks big. Well, Jahaz Mahal gets its name from its shape that looks like a ship parked on the banks of the lake.

If this was a palace or a hunting lodge or a pleasure palace for summers or a Sarai for visitors — no one really knows. It may have been all of that. You can see canopies on top with remains of blue tile work peeping through. Bang opposite the Jahaz Mahal, you can ask for the spring where the Phoolwalon ki Sair starts. In good old days, it was the water of this spring that fed the tank next to Jahaz Mahal. Keep walking and you will see many old structures, many of them with domes. You can stop by and listen to the stories from the locals, but let me tell you every time I walked, I heard a different story.

People of the place are real storytellers. You will come out close to the Andheria Mod, after walking through the eras of history. It is the most recognizable feature today. First-timers to Delhi can start their exploration of this heritage place from Qutub Minar.

If you think this place is all about ruins from the past, hold on. It is also home to some of the best designer boutiques in Delhi. I find it very romantic to walk through the ruins to find gourmet food and creative designer outfits. Some of these are specialized for the wedding or bridal shopping — for that is when you loosen your purse strings the most.

When it was the seat of rulers, it must have invited visitors from around the world. Well, not sure if they adapted to Indian cuisine, but today you can literally get any world cuisine here.

It is definitely a destination for the food connoisseurs in Delhi. Amazing blog! I also want to explore these places asap.
