This appointment starts in June and ends in September. The Manager Team recruits, hires, and trains a group of more than 36 Center Attendants. Executive Board members conduct weekly meetings to allow residents the opportunity to present issues of concern about residence hall living. The duties of a Conference Assistant include checking in conferees; troubleshooting problems related to conferences; handling petty cash transactions for guests; preparing room assignments, registration and key lists, and damage reports; making and posting directional signs for incoming groups; answering phones; forwarding mail to conferees and prior academic year residents; maintaining daily duty log; and responding to emergencies.

The Summer RA will work cooperatively with the Mesa Court Professional Staff during the summer months to facilitate a positive living environment within the assigned hall for all summer staff in Mesa Court.
